Meet One of Your Favorites!Who: Steve Burton Soap Nation Comes to Broadway!The 6th Annual ABC Daytime/SOAPnet Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS event has been set for March 21st, 2010, in New York City. This one-night-only event features ABC Daytime and SOAPnet stars taking the stage at Broadway's historic Town Hall for a night of singing, dancing, and entertainment. The event is hosted by Cameron Mathison (Ryan, All My Children). Appearing from General Hospital, watch for Bradford Anderson (Spinelli), Brandon Barash (Johnny), Anthony Geary (Luke), Jonathan Jackson (Lucky), and Nathan Parsons (Ethan). From All My Children will be Rebecca Budig (Greenlee), Melissa Claire Egan (Annie), Bobbie Eakes (Krystal), Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake), Adam Mayfield (Scott), Cornelius Smith Jr. (Frankie), and Susan Lucci (Erica). From One Life to Live, expect to see Kristen Alderson (Starr), Scott Clifton (Schuyler), Scott Evans (Fish), Kassie DePaiva (Blair), Mark Lawson (Brody), Nicholas Rodriguez (Nick), Tika Sumpter (Layla), Jason Tam (Markko), and Brittany Underwood (Langston). That's not all, though. Look for a special musical performance from Sherri Shepherd of The View! Talent participation is subject to change -- including NEW names that might be added in the coming weeks. Tickets are on sale now at www.broadwaycares.org or by calling 212-840-0770. All proceeds go to support Broadway Cares, an organization that helps to provide essential services for people with AIDS or other critical illnesses across the country. Additionally, the producers of the event are bringing back the second installment of their "Soap-a-thon." Starting Friday, December 4th, fans of AMC, OLTL, and GH can register and set up their own fundraising web page to support their favorite ABC Daytime "family tree" (e.g., the Martins, the Buchanans, etc). The top fundraising fan team's coordinator will be eligible to win round-trip airfare for two to New York City and VIP tickets to the Broadway Cares event. Burton, Carolyn Hennessy and Derk Cheatwood Soap Nation: Stagecoach 2010 ABC Daytime and SOAPnet are once again sponsoring Stagecoach -- the premiere country music festival this side of the Mississippi -- and Soap Nation will be there, natch, with a bevy of daytime's brightest! The Stagecoach Music Festival, California's country music festival, will take place on April 24th and 25th in Indio, California, and once again ABC Daytime and SOAPnet are the presenting sponsors. Among those slated to attend include Brandon Barash (Johnny), Bradford Anderson (Spinelli), Laura Wright (Carly), Jason Thompson (Patrick), and Steve Burton (Jason) from General Hospital.
